WORK-LIFE PROJECTS ADMINISTRATOR, Human Resources/Work-Life Center, to partner with the Work-Life Center's senior program manager and program manager to deliver comprehensive, high-touch services related to current and emerging needs of the MIT community. Will act as primary liaison between internal customers and external vendor partners to provide high-quality Institute-wide work-life services related to childcare, parenting, financial well-being, caregiving, and retirement; negotiate and manage vendor contracts for Care@Work Backup Child and Adult Care, Care@Work Senior Care Planning, and Bright Horizons Educational Advising/Special Needs Advising/Technology Child Care; oversee vendor budgeting; resolve customer concerns; develop and manage the center's budget and oversee day-to-day financial transactions; lead communications efforts and initiatives, including creating and disseminating key work-life and vendor marketing materials and strategies for new and improved communication areas; and gather and analyze data on emerging trends/needs relevant to new/expectant parents and parents of young children, teens, and children with special needs and design, develop, deliver, and evaluate new projects and initiatives based on findings.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree (master's preferred); at least seven years' experience in employee-focused work-life, communications, marketing, business, or related field; project development and implementation expertise; excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and writing skills; ability to develop and manage work-life programs, conduct research into future programs, and perform data analysis of current programs in order to support the identified needs of the MIT community and maintain the center's position as a national leader in the work-life field; ability to work independently, collaboratively, and with those at all levels in a diverse, multicultural community; and an understanding of the unique demands of academic life and international relocation.
