The Opportunity

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering have an exciting opportunity for an established and experienced professional to join the Faculty of Engineering in the role of a Technical Services Manager.

In this role, you will manage and direct the operations of the technical facilities, prioritising internal and external research and consultancy initiatives, and providing critical management and oversight to the six technical officers you directly supervise. You will manage significant technical facilities for the department, including logistics and planning of operations, infrastructure and resources. 

To be successful in this role, you must have a post‑graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or progress towards post‑graduate qualification and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
