Student Counsellor, Student Counselling & Development

Permanent Whole-time Post

The Student Counselling and Development Services (SCD), University College Cork, wish to recruit a student counsellor to join our team. The focus of this post is the provision of assessments, brief counselling, skill groups, trainings and workshops. The post-holder will also be expected to support with the ongoing development of the service and to work collaboratively with other professional colleagues towards the implementation of the University’s mental health strategy. Specific duties may also be assigned to the post-holder.

Appointment may be made on the Student Counsellor Salary Scale: €53,021 - €90,771 (Scale B) / €55,946 - €86,232 (Scale A)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy***.***
