Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The focus of this position will be to support an NIH-funded clinical trial (Pl: J. Carson Smith, PhD, Professor, Kinesiology) to determine the influence of exercise training on brain and cognitive function in older adults at increased risk for Alzheimer’s Disease. Must be willing to perform duties related to participant recruitment and screening, managing website content, scheduling research appointments, study management, in-person data collection, behavioral and neuroimaging data management, attend weekly team meetings, preparation of IRB and other regulatory documents, training and supervising undergraduate research assistants, and other tasks to support the ongoing efforts of the laboratory. Ideal candidates will have experience in a study coordinator role for clinical trials, exceptional organization and communication skills, demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a research team, and share a passion to help end Alzheimer’s disease.
