JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The primary role is to support the growth of TP Smart E-Commerce Centre of Excellence by enhancing the customer experience, executing customer order fulfilment and maintaining the technology and infrastructure. He/she is also responsible for performing data analysis to generate data-driven commercial insights and managing relationships with partners. The incumbent will serve as a Web Developer to join the development of the smart e-commerce facility. The Web Developer will participate in the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platforms (websites and internal tools). This individual will collaborate with product managers, developers, designers and marketers to produce outstanding customer experiences while developing and maintaining high-traffic e-commerce sites visited by customers in Singapore. The position requires the staff to ensure the smooth and secure running of the omni-channel centre, to provide the application support of the online web-store and order fulfilment centre, and to support the academic support in the area of data analytic and to liaise with technical partners. Job Scope 1. Drive technology and infrastructure enablement of the Omni-Channel Centre of Excellence Provide specialised knowledge and insights to the development of technology strategies and roadmaps Implement preventive and corrective measures such as backups and restoration of disaster recovery plans Operate and maintain existing IT infrastructure and networks based on standard operating procedures Monitor and maintain smooth functionality of website and provide regular system updates and patches Provide security monitoring and reporting Troubleshoot of technical infrastructure related issues Monitor new and emerging technologies Implement new systems and technologies Execute vendor relationship management activities 2. Provide e-commerce application support Develop and maintain the e-commerce websites Monitor and optimise site performance, stability and security Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing codes Work with UI/UX designers on implementing new features and changes Build internal tools based on third-party applications and APIs Keep the platforms, workflows and documentation up-to-date Collaborate with Marketing, other developers and third-party resources to develop new ways to enhance functionality and increase conversions Guidance on site enhancement matters Day-to-day application support assistance Layout and theme changes Troubleshoot of application issues Support the Academic team in e-commerce operations Installation of local copies of 1stAvenue.tpih.sg on VDI to support teaching Day-to-day technical assistance of teaching team who uses 1stAvenue.tpih.sg on the VDI Provide guidance on areas on how 1stAvenue.tpih.sg can be used to support teaching from a technical and risk perspective 3. Provide administrative support to Develop ITQ/IPA and for the procurement of IT related equipment, software and services. Oversee the procurement process to ensure that IT related equipment, software and services in Smart E-Commerce Centre are periodically updated, renewed, and continue to function Liaising with external vendors; Payment gateway providers, web hosting vendors, Third party logistics (3PL) etc and TP’s internal departments Assist with the design of posters and banners.
