Senior Project Manager (Maternity Cover)


We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work in the DMO for 12 months to cover maternity leave. You'll be a credible and experienced project manager used to working with project teams and stakeholders to deliver business-focussed improvement. You'll be comfortable working in ambiguous situations, where you need to be the person who brings clarity, focus and momentum to delivery.

 

You will take over the management of existing projects, as well as managing new projects as appropriate, and you'll be likely to work on projects relating to the student administration lifecycle.

 

University Information Services (UIS) provides University-wide services for the University of Cambridge, to enable the success of the collegiate University in fulfilling its mission of excellence in research and education, and by supporting professional services staff. We work collaboratively with colleagues in departments, colleges, and other institutions to provide a range of IT services to support the needs of all users at the University.

 

The UIS Delivery Management Office (DMO) manages the delivery of IT projects for the University. Our 20-strong team is made up of programme managers, project managers and business analysts.

 

Maternity cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
