Job description

 

Space for future science! A number of large-scale real estate and infrastructure investment proposals have been included in TU Delft's investment agenda, such as the construction of faculties and educational facilities and necessary maintenance of existing infrastructure. As a result, there are various challenging opportunities within real estate for various applications. Very different vacancies so that are comparable and known within the industry, but this within a unique working environment by, among other things, a state of the art infrastructure and unique scientific environment which in turn entails very specific and one of a kind projects that you will not find anywhere else in construction, civil and real estate world.

 

At our management Campus and Real Estate of Delft University of Technology, a unique and wonderful opportunity has arisen due to the role as Senior Project Manager for Construction:

 

Your responsibilities:

 

    • End responsible GROTIK aspects

 

    • Reporting orally and in writing on substantive and financial progress

 

    • Responsible for project documents and project file

 

    • Tender strategy, tendering within rules of mandate and tender regulation TUD

 

    • Responsible for internal testing and administrative decision-making

 

    • Responsible for achieving project result and transfer to exploitation and users

 

    • Responsible for evaluations, and possible proposals for improvement of general procedures and formats

 

    • Coordinate and manage complex multiple project organization

 

    • Coordination of user organization and internal departments

 

    • Monitor overall planning and follow-up to guidelines, procedures and standards. Monitor and guarantee the quality of the work

 

    • Content management of Junior Project Managers

 

 

Requirements

 

    • Academic working and thinking level

 

    • 10+ years of experience as a project manager in the real estate sector

 

    • Knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing

 

    • Functional competencies: analytical skills, independence, planning and organizational skills, awareness of the environment, stress resistance, persuasiveness, steering on results, connecting leadership and organizational sensitivity.

 

 

Conditions of employment

 

The function has a size of 32-38 hours (0.8 - 1.0 fte) per week. It is a temporary appointment for a period of one year with prospects of permanent employment. The salary is based on scale 12 of the collective agreement for Dutch Universities with a minimum of € 4,406 and a maximum of € 5,656 gross per month for a full-time appointment.

 

41 days off with a 40-hour working week.

 

Besides of course the holiday allowance in May, you will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December. You can also compile a part of your terms of employment package yourself with the help of the Individual Terms and Conditions package, including buying and selling leave hours.

 

A good balance between work and private life is important. That is why you can make agreements about flexible working hours, you have many vacation days and parental leave is partially paid. In many functions, working from home is also possible.

 

On the campus is an International Child Center with childcare, pre-school and after-school care and an international primary school.
