The role of Senior Manager, Client Relationships (Senior CRM) is to develop and maintain long-term, profitable partnerships with strategically targeted organisations across all AGSM Executive Education (EE) Custom program offerings.

The role of Senior Manager – Client Relationships reports to Director, AGSM Executive Education, and has has five reports.

Specific responsibilities for this role include:

  • Developing new customer relationships with strategically targeted clients – predominantly for Custom Education
  • Establishing and managing large commercial relationships which are aligned with client expectations and the agreed contract
  • Administration of the discovery phase, design and delivery of the programs in conjunction with the Program Director and Faculty to ensure quality outcomes and efficient use of resources.
  • Development and expansion of professional networks within the learning and development/HR community and business community.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of trends in adult and executive education and learning environments.

About the successful applicant

  • Hold a tertiary degree (preferably MBA) or equivalent in a relevant discipline with at least 10 years relevant experience; or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of relevant education training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of industry trends in executive development and executive educations.
  • Extensive experience in undertaking strategic business analysis and creating alignment to organisational capability for a selected target group.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships with senior executives and L&D professionals within large private and public sector organisations. 
  • Experience in learning/instructional design in order to create executive education solutions which have tangible individual and organisational impact.
  • High level interpersonal, leadership, management and negotiation skills including the ability to manage a tea and to interact effectively with a wide client base and communicate and negotiate with external clients.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
