The Office of the Dean of Students is seeking a Senior Financial Manager who will share our vision for the success of the department and the Division of Student Affairs (DoSA) as a whole. You will thrive in a high-traffic environment while striving to provide first-rate service and support to students, staff, and external constituents. Joining a team of three, you will oversee all financial functions for several assigned departments within the division, and have the responsibility of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of financial practices and processes.

Core responsibilities will include:

Manage purchasing processes;
Run and distribute monthly financial reports;
Complete quarterly analysis on departmental accounts and reconciliation of complex accounts;
Create, track, and enter budget information;
Assist with auditing and fiscal close;
Oversight of compliance, record retention, and policy creation/revision;
Complete divisional reporting;
Provide policy guidance to staff;
Serve as a Workday department initiator, activity pay manager, and cost center manager;
Participate as a representative on the divisional financial team;
Train new staff within respective departments within the division, and act as a backup to finance team members; and
Spearhead financial projects on an as-needed basis under the direction of the Director of Finance for the Division.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
Minimum five years of relevant experience required; higher-education experience preferred.
Workday and Oracle experience highly desired.
