About the position

At the International Section, there is a vacancy as a senior consultant in 100%, with the desired appointment as soon as possible.




The position is part of the admission group on the International section, with a workplace in Trondheim.



The assignments will be related to student mobility, including:


Case processing, admission work and tasks related to the reception of international students, among other things. with the use of FS (Joint Student Data System for Universities and Colleges)

Responsibility for coordinating housing orders at SiT for international students

Planning and implementation of the reception program for international students

The person employed will act as a link between the student volunteer and the International Section. This involves participation in relevant forums and responsibilities for follow-up of applications from student voluntary grants for funding from the International Section.

If necessary, it may also be relevant to assist in other parts of international section's core tasks, including some work on first-line inquiries and reception work.

Some work tasks, eg within the reception of international students, may require some attendance in July and August

Changes in work tasks may occur as a result of internal redeployments.


eligibility Requirements

Education at Bachelor level is required. Long and direct relevant experience can compensate for the educational requirement

some relevant experience within the job's tasks

some knowledge of the university sector and international student mobility

good knowledge of the use of IT as a work tool

very good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian and English

Wanted qualifications

Practical experience within one or more of the position's main areas of responsibility, eg. experience with case processing of applications for admission to higher education

Competence in the use of the Joint Student Data System for universities and colleges (FS).

Experience with the implementation of major events

Salaries and terms

The position as senior executive code 1408 is normally paid from gross NOK 428 500 to NOK 456 900 per year. years depending on qualifications and seniority. From salaries, 2% of statutory deposits are withdrawn from the Government Pension Fund.


The employment is carried out in accordance with the principles of the State Employees Act, and legislation regulating the export of knowledge, technology and services. After hiring, you must expect changes to the work area.
