The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Cell Competition and Niche Signalling laboratory to provide efficient research support to students and researchers.

You will work closely with researchers, staff and students and this position will play a critical role in supporting the stem cell and cancer research themes in the lab including mouse colony maintenance, undertaking various tissue culture and biological/physiological assays and maintaining OHS compliance and general lab administrative tasks.

Ideally, we are seeking someone with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and someone with experience in mouse physiology and dissection, standard molecular biology techniques, stem cell and cancer biology, and specific experience in gastrointestinal biology is desirable.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
