About the position

At the Faculty of Architecture and Design there is a 100% permanent position as an advisor within research administration / consulting.


The person employed shall contribute to increasing the capacity and professionalism of administrative support for research activities at the faculty, in close cooperation with the faculty's senior adviser within research and the Dean of Research.


The position is placed in the faculty administration, and requires a lot of collaboration with scientific and administrative staff at all levels of the organization.


The position reports to the section manager.



Case management within the research area

Guided Researchers Using the National Database of Publications, Cristin, and Performing Annual Quality Control in Cristin

Guided research project managers in the design of data management plans and NTNU's policy related to open data, in collaboration with the University Library

Representation in relevant networks

Follow-up and reporting of research issues at the faculty

Collaborate with the faculty's senior advisor within research on administrative support for researchers in the development of project applications to the Research Council and the EU


The content of the position will be developed in step with the organization.


eligibility Requirements

Relevant education from university or college, minimum equivalent bachelor level. Applicants with a similar master level will be preferred

Relevant experience from the university, university college, research institute or business

Very good presentation ability in Norwegian and English, both written and oral

Knowledge and experience with digital tools

Wanted qualifications

Knowledge of the Research Council and the EU research and innovation programs is desirable

Knowledge of other relevant instruments within innovation will be an advantage

Good knowledge of the university and college sector

Personal characteristics

Salaries and terms

The position as advisor code 1434 is normally paid from gross NOK 505 800 - 586 500 per year. years depending on qualifications and seniority. From salary, 2% of statutory deposits are withdrawn from the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.


The employment is carried out in accordance with the principles of the State Employees Act, and legislation regulating the export of knowledge, technology and services. After hiring, you must expect changes to the work area.
