The Swiss Transplant Cohort Study (STCS) is a nation-wide prospective multi-site cohort study funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The primary objective of the STCS is the provision of long-term high-quality data for clinical research and monitoring to improve the quality of care for organ recipients in all transplantation clinics in Switzerland.

Your responsibilities

Administrative central management of STCS Nested Projects (NPs), including:
  • Development and implementation of a central NP management, including project management tool, in close collaboration with the head of the STCS Scientific Committee, the STCS PI, the STCS Coordinator, the STCS Data Center
  • Administration of ongoing scientific projects during the entire life cycle, including the control of compliance with "STCS guidelines for scientific projects"
  • Repertorization of completed NP
  • Contact person for NP investigators for administrative questions
  • Support of the Head of the STCS Scientific Committee (SC)
  • - Organization of SC meetings and the annual scientific meeting
  • Support of the STCS Principal Investigator (PI) and STCS Coordinator
  • - Follow-up project reporting
  • - Updating of research output data on the STCS website
  • Participation in regular STCS Scientific Committee meetings and task-related meetings with the STCS PI, the STCS Coordinator and the STCS Data Center

Your profile

  • Academic degree and/or experience in research management
  • Very good communication skills; excellent knowledge of English and German (both oral and written)
  • Self-contained, flexible personality; interested to work in the STCS research environment
  • Strong organizational skills; efficient and precise working style, experience in project management
  • Knowledge of or openness to the general regulatory framework of clinical research
