An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual seeking a role in project management to join a multi-disciplinary team of chemists and engineers within the EPSRC-funded programme grant Photo-Electro. Photo-Electro is a 5-year, £6.5M project between the Universities of Nottingham, Southampton and Bristol, partnering with over 25 companies and industrial organisations with the goal of transforming the way fine chemicals, agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals are manufactured in the UK through innovative synthetic methods involving continuous photo-, electro-, and thermal-chemistry ( 

The role-holder will work closely with academics and researchers at each university, but will be based at the University of Nottingham. They will coordinate and manage all aspects of the Programme Grant including project reports, finances and social media. They will organise conferences for the Photo-Electro Team and Stakeholders in addition to outreach events for public dissemination of research. The role-holder must have the ability to organise a team to achieve specific tasks and ideally have experience of marketing in the science arena. Excellent communication skills are required to work and build relationships with grant stakeholders.

The role-holder will ideally have a first-degree and be able to demonstrate experience of project management administration. First degree in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering or equivalent industrial experience is desirable. 

The role is offered on a fixed term contract until 05 February 2022. Hours of work are full-time 36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
