Program Coordinator for Gender and Development

  1. With least MA Degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Psychology, Education, or other related discipline.
  2. Must have at least three (3) years in developing and implementing programs for diverse population;
  3. Showing proficiencies in competencies expected to a program coordinator; program development, expertise in the discipline and communication with stakeholders;
  4. Must have outstanding knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.);
  5. Must be highly dependable, trustworthy and service-oriented, and, with interpersonal and customer-service skills;
  6. Must have a high level of integrity.

Job Description/Summary

  1. Develop and implement programs related to university-wide gender awareness and responsiveness, aligned with the University mission;
  2. Receive complaints and make needed initial inquiry for gender-based harassment and discrimination incidents and cases;
  3. Act as the Link with internal units to support and advocate for gender and development efforts;
  4. Provide coordination for the activities of, and design and implement training for the CODI Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI);
  5. Provide consultation to internal units that seek advice on gender issues;
  6. Participate in continuing professional development activities under the relevant discipline;
  7. Accomplish all other assigned tasks that may be deemed necessary for the efficient and effective implementation of the Polices of the University related to gender and development and Safe Spaces
  8. Performs and prioritizes other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
