Section

The salary unit is part of the HR department and consists of ten employees. We handle about 6,500 salaries every month. We work together, which places demands on cooperation ability and structure.  

 

duties

You will be working with business processes for our HR systems primarily with the Primula payroll system. The task is to be involved in developing and adapting changes that are necessary to ensure that KI complies with applicable laws and agreements and that Primula is perceived as a user-friendly system. Among other things, included to:

 

 Communicate changes in the systems into the business

 Participate in various development projects

 payroll runs

 Authorization and device setup

 Participate in development group for systems within the payroll unit

You will also be able to work with custom wage administration issues where you are the contact person for selected institutions. Here you get to work consultatively in the entire wage administration area.

 

The work as a salary officer includes having contact with employees, managers, staff functions at our institutions and other external authorities.

 

qualifications

We are looking for someone who has polytechnic competence as a salary specialist or equivalent education / competence as well as a few years' experience of salary administration work.

 

You have great pay system interest and generally good IT skills, preferably in Excel. You are used to interpreting collective agreements and are well versed in legislation and regulations in the area.

 

Personal characteristics

Your ability to organize and plan the work and follow common routines is good. You should be used to managing deadlines, such as the monthly pay run.

 

You are efficient and quality conscious and when the role includes supporting the business in different pay issues, you also need to be service oriented, pedagogical and responsive. You handle information and issues within pay with high integrity and good judgment. With your positive attitude and good collaborative ability you will find it obvious to contribute to a nice working climate and to further develop the salary unit.   

 

Since in the role you have many contacts both via meetings, mail and phone, you need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
