The Opportunity The School of Chemistry is seeking an Operations Coordinator to assist with high-level administrative and project coordination services to support strategies, programs and initiatives. As the successful candidate you will have experience in project management and have highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience in establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting deadlines. You will have highly developed analytical and conceptual skills, including demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and information and deliver positive, innovative solutions which will be essential to the role. This position is suited to a highly motivated individual who holds a tertiary qualification in IT or a relevant field with substantial relevant project management skills or business process automation or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training. Additionally, you will ideally have advanced computer literacy, demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills and quickly adapt to and learn new systems.
