Office Manager (30-40%)

starting as soon as possible or under agreement.

In cooperation with another office manager, you will be responsible for the management of the professorship with almost 15 employees and the handling of all administrative tasks at the interface between science and administration. Your tasks will include the finance and human resources of the professorship, as well as the financial accounting of national and international research projects. Your duties will also include organizing events, arrangements for visitors, communicating with collaborators, budget planning and controlling.

You are experienced in office management, have a commercial or business management education, as well as excellent knowledge of both the German and English language. You are a responsible person, loyal, reliable, friendly, well organized, proactive, confident and are able to keep the overview even under time pressure. You enjoy working as part of an internationally diverse team. You are flexible and happy to face new challenges. You easily handle IT programs, websites, apps and management software and you have a fast learning ability. Ideally you are also familiar with the science-oriented environment and have experience in the efficient handling and organization of research projects. If possible, you already have experience in the field of ETH administration.
