This tenure-track position is a member of TRU Libraries and the TRU Librarians’ Department and will work at the Williams Lake Campus as the sole campus librarian, responsible for the day-to-day operation of campus library services. Thirty percent of the student population is Indigenous, and the campus enjoys excellent education partnerships often delivering programs on-site in Indigenous communities. While the campus does serve degree students, it is primarily a two-year transfer institution for certificate, diploma, and trades programs. Here, you’ll enjoy a quiet and affordable lifestyle, with all the amenities of a larger center, and with four seasons of spectacular outdoor adventures in your own beautiful backyard. A region rich in history and a plentiful selection of outdoor activities in untouched wilderness, from fishing one of the 4,500 lakes, hiking to mountain tops, to snowmobiling through fresh powder.
