Job description


Your future responsibilities:


In the function of Junior Project Manager Civil you work in the young and dynamic working environment of the Projects department and you contribute to preparing, managing and realizing challenging Civil projects on campus. You do this under the guidance of a (senior) project manager. You will be given the opportunity to develop into an independent project manager in this position. Besides 'learning on the job', we offer our juniors an internal training for strengthening your personal leadership skills. You do this together with the other juniors.


A further explanation of the function:


    • You participate in design and implementation consultations with consultants and external parties


    • You prepare (together with the project manager) for consultation


    • You assist with the drafting of decision documents and for projects of (European) tenders


    • You test (or have tests carried out) on set requirements, demand specifications and agreements


    • You assist with the drafting and approval of phase documents and progress reports


    • You coordinate and manage appointments and take care of the correspondence


    • You manage the defined action points and outstanding questions and manage their realization


    • You are responsible for the quality of the project file


    • You support the purchasing and invoicing flows within the project


    • You provide the agreed input regarding risk analysis, project planning and costs for monthly and quarterly reports


    • Control projects based on the GOTIK-R aspects


    • Send projects on process, progress and budget. Focus on transparency, recording and timely upshift


    • Responsible for transfer to administrators.





This is you


    • HBO and / or WO education in the direction of civil engineering, technical business administration, or similar


    • So little or no experience at the start of your career


    • Strong communication skills


    • Process-oriented and strong in stakeholder management.



Conditions of employment


The position is 32-38 hours (0.8 - 1.0 per week) and is a temporary appointment for a period of one year with prospects of permanent employment.The salary is based on scale 10 of the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities with a minimum of 2.709 , 00 euro and a maximum of 4,274.00 euro gross per month for a full-time appointment.You will be classified on the basis of knowledge and experience.You will accrue pension through the ABP pension fund In addition to the holiday allowance in May, you will receive a payment in December year-end bonus of 8.3% You can also compile a part of your package of terms and conditions yourself with the help of the Individual Choice Package for Working Conditions, including buying and selling leave hours.
