IT Security and Data Protection Officer (m / w / d)


The IT Service Center (ITSZ) of the Technical University of Munich is looking for a speaker for IT Security and Data Protection at the earliest possible date.


Your area of responsibility:
We are one of the largest technical universities in Germany and see the protection of our research and personal data as an important criterion for securing our international top position. In order to strengthen our IT management team, we are looking for a limited period of three years for a speaker with the following tasks:

• updating and implementing the IT security concept, the IT security guidelines and regulations,
• advising various interest groups, including the CIO, in IT security tasks,
• coordination and audit of IT security measures,
• support in the prevention of acute security incidents,
• Active information and continuous sensitization of university members on the subject of IT security and data protection,
• contact person in the field of information security.

Your requirement profile:
They have a broad, practice-oriented IT know-how and have experience in securing IT systems and ideally in finding, analyzing and warding off attacks on the IT infrastructure. You are familiar with the topics BSI-Grundschutz, ISO 27k and DSGVO and can prove this ideally with certificates. In addition, you are communicative, do not shy away from direct contact with users and can present your thoughts in a structured way. A completed university degree from an IT-related area, a team-oriented approach and customer and solution-oriented thinking, we assume.
