UCC wishes to appoint an International Manager in the College of Medicine and Health. The role of the International Manager is to assist the Head of College in formulating a College level strategy for recruitment of international students and to work with heads of Schools and other stakeholders to implement this strategy. In developing this strategy, the International manager will provide quantitative and qualitative appraisals of performance in current markets and conduct desk-based research to identify potential markets.
The International Manager will present a draft recruitment strategy to the CoMH Executive and the Executive, under the leadership of the Head of College, will then set the annual recruitment targets against which performance will be measured. Each School will develop an implementation plan for the year to ensure that they meet the recruitment targets. A key aspect of the work of the International Manager is to liaise with Heads of School, with designated staff in each school and with staff in the International Office.
The post holder will report to the Head of College, COMH with a dotted reporting line to the Registrar.

Appointment may be made on the Admin II (Grade 6A) Salary Scale:
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
