The personnel department consists of four departments with about 50 employees and is responsible for the entire personnel administration of the core university. In addition, central personnel development is one of the areas of activity of the department. You can expect the challenge of helping to shape the diverse HR topics of a university of excellence and to lead it into a successful future.


Your future responsibilities:

  • Professional, organizational and personnel management of the department

  • Operational and strategic personnel management

  • Clarification of policy issues in civil service, collective bargaining, budgetary and university law

  • Optimization of personnel administration, personnel selection and personnel development

  • Digitization of business processes in the department

  • Personnel law implementation of the cooperations as part of the excellence strategy

  • Cooperation with the university management and all members and committees of the university

They bring with them:

  • A scientific university degree with a master's degree or diploma in economics or law

  • Several years of professional and managerial experience, ideally in the university context, in the field of science or in public administration

  • In-depth knowledge in collective bargaining and civil service law, as well as in personnel representation law

  • A team and goal-oriented communication and leadership style

  • Distinctive conflict-resolution skills, assertiveness and a high sense of responsibility

  • Good to very good English skills
