DescriptionThe Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Must be fellowship trained in the field of facial plastic/reconstructive surgery and board certified or board eligible. Teaching responsibilities may include medical student, resident and fellow education as well as formal lecture opportunities. The successful applicant will also serve as Co-Director of the facial plastics fellowship program. Clinical responsibilities may include the medical and surgical treatment of cosmetic and reconstructive cases for the face including Rhinoplasty, Facelift, Neck Lift, Brow Lift, Blepharoplasty, Otoplasty and facial reconstruction post MOHS. Development of programs in facial nerve reanimation and gender affirming surgery are strongly encouraged. Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, program development, quality improvement initiatives and innovation in delivery of care is required.
