Your position

  • You manage 20 administrative employees, divided into 4 service teams (reception - Campus South shop - financial and personnel management - support unit). You mainly manage from a distance and coach from close by where desirable. You stimulate the self-organizing capacity of your teams through clear communication and decision-making.
  • You have operational ultimate responsibility for numerous administrative tasks. Your teams are responsible for, among other things, lending materials, following up cost statements and supporting training. You realize a professional service via the desks to students, colleagues and also external parties.
  • You coordinate the personnel planning and budget and you follow up agreements, in cooperation with the HR business partners. You are a pivotal figure that collects the information from the training courses and processes it with the help of your team. You are responsible for carefully managing the personnel budget of both education groups.
  • You fulfill a bridging function between the questions and needs of 'stakeholders' and the realization of quality services by your teams.
  • You actively contribute to both the KdG policy development through university-wide projects and consultations, and to the policies for both education groups.
  • You work closely with your colleague heads of administration and organization, the training heads and colleagues from the college services. You have consultations on a structural basis.
  • The position of head of administration and organization is in full development. You contribute to the optimization of administrative processes and supporting instruments.
  • Your base is Campus South. You report to the director of the Welfare & Healthcare education group.

Your profile

  • You have a master's degree or succeed, through your professional experience, in acting and reasoning at master's level. You gained experience with financial and personnel management and managing supporting teams.
  • You have experience as a manager. You inspire and ensure a pleasant working environment and a positive dynamic in your team. You coach people in a development-oriented way and you deploy them to their talents. You give employees the necessary responsibility and you monitor the achievement of goals.
  • You are particularly strong in planning and organizing and have a practical attitude with a view to maximum efficiency and effectiveness. You have a permanent eye for improvements and innovations from a customer-focused perspective. You have experience with process optimization and streamlining processes.
  • You work efficiently and result-oriented, also under time pressure and priority changes.
  • Flexibility and decisiveness characterize your personality.
  • You have a strong analytical insight and you get the essence from a multitude of information.
  • You are strong in guiding change processes.
  • You are a team player who encourages collaboration.
  • You possess the necessary relational and communication skills, as well as a healthy dose of assertiveness and a sense of diplomacy.
  • You are proficient in the use of IT tools.
  • You undertake activities aimed at your professional growth.
  • Experience with and knowledge about higher education is an added value.

Our offer

  • A statutory appointment [1] in full-time employment (100%) as a member of the administrative technical staff.

  • The assignment starts as soon as possible after selection. An external candidate starts with a one-year contract as a trial period, renewable after a positive evaluation. For an internal candidate, the start date is determined in consultation with managers.
  • Full reimbursement of commuting by public transport or a bicycle allowance of 0.15 euros / km.
