Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 494177) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)


Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree, and at least 4 years’ full-time work experience in the field of talent acquisition, recruitment, student career advising or a related field. Those with quality relevant work experience in the private sector would have a keen advantage. They must have a good command of written and spoken English and ideally Chinese; good organizational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills; computer literacy; and must be able to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players with the ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details. Knowledge of Putonghua and understanding of the China labour market would be a distinct advantage.


The appointee will provide career-related services to students and is expected to work closely with students to provide career coaching and training activities. He/She should therefore have a passion for working with student and be able to build and develop relationships with hiring partners. He/She will also engage in organizing various career-oriented events (such as job fairs, company visits, employer networking sessions, etc.), and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. The careers team also supports the Faculty’s MBA students. An MBA degree holder would therefore be ideal for applicants interested in serving MBA students.
