Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The Director of Outreach & Strategic Partnerships (OSP) will be principally responsible for building new relationships with prospective individual and institutional donors and identifying prospective public and private funders, with an emphasis on major gift giving, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors, in order to advance the mission and organizational goals of the Judge AW Center. The successful candidate will (1) lead the crafting and implementation of a comprehensive and aggressive strategic partnerships strategy, (2) coordinate and support events designed to build philanthropic support, and (3) work closely with the Development team in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences on solicitations and gifts and to manage and coordinate development efforts, support partnerships, and maintain the Center’s digital presence and public communications outreach. Minimum Qualifications: • Passion for the mission and long-term programmatic vision of the Judge AW Center as well as dedication to the work of restorative justice and policy reform in the areas of education, justice, and ethics; Preferences: Advanced degree beyond the bachelor’s preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel independently by car, train, bus, subway, and air. This individual will be required to lift boxes up to 40 pounds and transport items to many different event locations. Approximately 10% local/regional travel is required. Access to a vehicle is required for this position.
