This appointment is for a three-year term, commencing July 1, 2021. Contributing to the strategic objectives of the Office of the Vice-Provost Academic, the Director, Curriculum Quality Assurance ensures continuous and effective implementation of the policies related to Ryerson’s Institutional Quality Assurance Process (IQAP), facilitates the report/audit relation between Ryerson and the Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance (Quality Council) for Ryerson’s undergraduate and graduate programs, and provides support to the Chair of the Academic Standards Committee. A detailed description of the roles and responsibilities of this position is available upon request. The Director reports to the Vice-Provost, Academic and works closely with the Yeates School of Graduate Studies (YSGS) Vice-Provost and Dean, and the YSGS Associate Dean, Programs. The director oversees the Curriculum Quality unit within Ryerson’s newly established Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, including supervision of the team of Curriculum Development Consultants, and serves as a member of the Centre’s strategic leadership group. The mission of the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching is to promote, guide and celebrate educational excellence at Ryerson.
