Deputy Director of Research & Innovation – Knowledge Exchange and Impact The Deputy Director of Research and Innovation – Knowledge Exchange and Impact (DDoRI) is responsible, on behalf of the Head of School and Director of Research and Innovation, for providing direction and cohesion in the development of the School’s research and innovation strategy, and ensuring growth in knowledge exchange and research impact activity. The DDoRI Knowledge Exchange and Impact plays a key role in the School’s leadership team, promoting coordinated strategic academic development across all areas of activity. The DDoRI will work closely with the School’s Research Impact Manager to provide strategic direction and support for knowledge exchange and research impact. Normally, the post is expected to receive a workload compensation of 33 days per year (15% FTE). The tenure for the DDoRI post will be for a period of between three and five years, by mutual agreement on appointment. The postholder will be accountable to the Director of Research and Innovation and the Head of School. The postholder will be expected to work in accordance with the University’s policies, procedures and values, promoting academic excellence through integrity, inclusiveness, professionalism and community.
