Duties and responsibilities The College is now seeking to appoint a Dean to lead the Faculty, responsible for ensuring that its research and teaching remains at a world-leading level and promoting excellence in all of the Departments' activities. The Dean will work collaboratively with both internal and external partners. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will be a member of the Provost's Board and College Council and will play an important role in setting wider College Strategy and managing its implementation. Essential requirements Candidates will demonstrate exceptional leadership ability, possess an outstanding reputation in research in a relevant area, be experienced in teaching and engagement and have considerable personal credibility. With a deep understanding of the key opportunities and challenges in developing a world-class Faculty, the Dean will drive its capabilities and its international status.
