Data and Website Manager - CRUK Children's Brain Tumour Centre of Excellence (Fixed Term)

The newly formed Cancer Research UK Children's Brain Tumour Centre of Excellence (CRUK-CBTCE) is seeking to recruit a Data Manager. This is an exciting new position where the Data Manager will use their skills to support the research of the Centre.


The successful candidate will be involved in large and exciting research projects that will drive progress in paediatric brain tumours and transform treatments for these diseases. The post holder will work directly with researchers to develop and maintain databases for paediatric brain tumours. The individual will be responsible for contributing to the analysis of genomic data generated by multiple research collaborators within the Centre as well as developing the Centre's data management strategy in conjunction with collaborators.


The post holder will also work directly with the Scientific Manager, to design and maintain a state of the art Centre website which will promote all Centre's activities, share data repositories and update on Centre projects and progress. In addition to data analyses management, the role will require the development and maintenance of the Centre Web Portal (CWP), a state of the art website developed to promote all Centre activities.
