The PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity is a Centre providing a national capability enabling the UK to become a world-leader in IoT and associated systems security. The post holder will play a key role in overseeing the communications and marketing strategies and activities of PETRAS in line with those of the Department,  Faculty and UCL as a whole. This will include promoting open academic funding calls, research outputs and impact to stakeholders in government, industry and academia The post holder will lead in areas, not limited to, but including: designing and producing marketing literature (brochures, flyers, posters etc.) and web communications (e-newsletters, social media posts, mailing lists etc.) brand and visual identity management as well as event co-ordination.

The post is funded until 31 March 2023 in the first instance.
Key Requirements
Our ideal candidate will be educated to A level standard (Grade C or above) or have acquired relevant experience in terms of writing and analysis. They must have up-to-date knowledge of social media channels and developments, excellent editing skills and experience of creating and managing news and media content. 

The post holder is expected to be adaptable, proactive and quickly assimilate information. The role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL, thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and ability to remain tactful and assertive are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.
