£27511 to £30046 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Clinical Studies Officer to join the research team within the Gastrointestinal and Liver Disorders Theme of the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). The post holder will play a key role in the recruitment of participants to the NAFLD BioResource study. We are looking for a motivated, skilful and knowledgeable individual who will work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrates initiative when working independently. 

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of study processes, including screening and recruiting participants, conducting research visits, and collecting research data and blood samples. They will work alongside the Project Manager and clinical colleagues to ensure efficient study management. The post will be based at the Queen’s Medical Centre and may involve travelling to different hospital sites.

The post is a full time, fixed term post until 31st March 2022. Applications are welcome for part time working, minimum 21.75h per week. Job share arrangements may be considered.
