Chief People and Culture Officer

UCC is now looking to appoint an exceptional leader to the position of Chief People and Culture Officer, to lead University strategy in this area. The Chief People and Culture Officer will report to the President or nominee and, as a member of the University Leadership Team, shape decision-making in all areas of people and culture, acting as a strategic partner across the University, at an exciting and challenging time.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years professional experience having performed at a senior executive level in a large national or global organisation of similar scale and complexity to UCC. They will be a proven leader with exceptional inter-personal skills. They will also demonstrate the credibility, drive and resilience to support the delivery of university strategy through the development and implementation of an ambitious people and culture plan. The appointee will have strong negotiating and influencing skills capable of bringing about significant change in a complex and diverse environment.
