  • HEO6 $76,199 - $82,355 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation

 

About the role

Working within the broader Infrastructure and Organisation group, the Facilities Systems Drawing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of drawings management across all University locations. Duties and responsibilities include creation of, conversion, preparation, publication and maintenance of Architectural base floor plans using AutoCAD/revit and maintaining up to date “as-built” data records of physical assets. Additionally, you will assist in the production and maintenance of campus maps, and will ensure drawings received from various Project Managers meet agreed standards.

 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Completion of a diploma or degree qualification in Architecture with at least two years subsequent relevant working experience or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or work experience
  • Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD and Revit software as well as MS Office suite
  • Proven experience applying exceptional data accuracy skills in drawing/drafting.
  • Experience in using GIS applications to integrate GIS data to AutoCAD/Revit drawings will be highly regarded

  • Excellent drafting skills using AutoCAD/Revit
  • Demonstrated experience in  computer‐aided  drafting and  database applications and  their  integration for the management of spatial data with a very high degree of accuracy
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders including I&O Project Managers and external contractors to ensure agreed standards are met
