Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Dean, in this co-leadership role the Faculty Executive Director (FED) will provide high-level leadership and direction in the management of service provision. With a focus on innovation, effectiveness, sustainability and efficiency, the FED will contribute to shaping the Faculty’s future, and seek new opportunities to enhance the Faculty’s reputation and performance.  This includes guiding the development and implementation of strategic and business planning, effectively deploying resources to ensure the delivery of strong academic and sustainable outcomes, and managing key projects. The appointee will play a key role in fostering ‘one culture’ across the Faculty, identifying new sources of income, cultivating innovation and an external orientation, and forging strategic partnerships. Critical to success in this role will be building strong working relationships with academic and professional staff and proactively engaging across the University to ensure the Faculty has a significant voice.

 

You are a highly regarded and well-rounded executive with a track record of achievement gained in higher education institutions or similarly complex environments. A proven and visionary leader with strong financial and commercial acumen, you are a change agent and culture carrier who empowers, and achieves through, others. Collaborative, agile and strategic, you lead by example and possess exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. Underpinned by well-honed change and project management skills are your achievements in driving innovation, leveraging opportunities and establishing commercially beneficial partnerships.
