£39609 to £48677 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The role of Senior Project Manager (EDI) offers an exciting opportunity to use your professional skills & experience in project and programme management to support the development & implementation of the University of Nottingham's EDI Strategy. This role reports to the Head of Strategy Support in the Planning, Performance & Strategic Change Directorate and works closely with the Pro Vice Chancellor for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (PVC EDI).


The University of Nottingham is focusing on its approach to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion is embedded across the institution, for both staff and students. This will include further development & implementation of the EDI Strategy; reviewing current policy & practice; and enhancing structures that will support the implementation of our equality objectives. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activity within the EDI programme of work, using their programme & project management experience & skills to ensure an effective and efficient approach.


The successful candidate will have an understanding of equality, diversity & inclusion issues & challenges and how these impact on the staff and students within a University setting, as well as be able to work proactively and positively with a wide range of colleagues across the different Faculties, Schools & Departments. Excellent communication & presentation skills and a focus on delivering results and managing change within a large and complex organisation are essential.
