The group is providing transformational change, defining and influencing future service enhancements, and acts as a shared services function within the University of Melbourne.


About the role

The Program Manager, Engagement & Outreach will lead a team of professional staff who work across the portfolio to ensure the effective and coordinated delivery of a dynamic contemporary program that supports engagement, research, and learning and teaching, in physical and digital environments.

Building on academic opportunities, partnerships, student engagement, and contributing to the strategic goals, the Program Manager, Engagement & Outreach will collaborate across Scholarly Services and faculties, with researchers, students, and external partners, to deliver and promote the cultural collections and university archives in new and innovative ways.


About you

- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering innovative curation programs within a public and/or academic context, including concepts, practices, and procedures

- Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging trends in education, academic learning environments, blended learning approaches, and/or galleries/museums.

- Leadership skills and experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and contractors;

- Proven ability to thrive in a changing and fast paced environment
