In particular, this concerns the Horeca & Eventsupport process team, whose task is to ensure that employees, students and external guests can make the most of the meeting, conference, and event facilities that faculty buildings, public buildings and the publicly accessible campus have to offer. The process team provides professional support before, during and after an event and is responsible for contract management of the vending contract.

 

Job description

 

Are you ready for a new challenge? And this with a prestigious organization within academic education? Read on! For the coming year, there is the challenge / challenge to further professionalise the event process at TU Delft and to focus more unambiguously on the campus (one stop shop). In addition, we want to introduce a 'real time' user experience in the full width of the department. All this in order to achieve higher user satisfaction.

 

Your future responsibilities: 

 

    • You develop policy and realize the implementation of this policy with regard to one or more (campus-wide) facility processes in the area of catering and events.

 

    • You lead the process team and manage the (external) suppliers.

 

    • You ensure that the set policy is instructed and trained by the staff of the Service Department.

 

    • You monitor and monitor the results of the catering operations in relation to the established Catering business case.

 

    • You conduct tactical consultations with suppliers based on management reports prepared by the process team.

 

    • You provide input for the strategic consultation with suppliers.

 

    • You also lead European tendering procedures (from the content).

Requirements

 

This is you:

 

    • HBO + work and thinking level (preferred for HBO Facility Management or Hotel School).

 

    • Experience of 8-10 years in a leading position within facility management and / or Hospitallity industry.

 

    • A naturally professional leadership style that is focused on sustainable employability of employees, where social and business is kept in good balance.

 

    • Knowledge of the English language in word and writing.

 

    • Functional competencies: vision, conceptual ability, analytical skills, steering on results, organizational sensitivity, persuasiveness and written expression.
