Job description


As an Energy Coordinator at TU Delft, you as a specialist can make an impact on a large organization. Working on innovation in the field of energy saving, sustainable energy, energy storage and energy monitoring. You feel at home in the role of coordinator / specialist and sparring partner for management. You are enterprising and know how to approach. You have a particular passion for energy, innovation and sustainability and sustainable energy is of paramount importance to you!


What are you going to do?:


    • Is responsible for setting up a tool with which energy waste can be detected


    • Is responsible for testing compliance with the legal obligations, the changes thereto and the way in which this is safeguarded within TU Delft in the area of energy and emissions.


    • Is responsible for the preparation and commissioning of energy saving measures (EEP)


    • Is responsible for submitting the annual electronic environmental report in consultation with the Energy team leader


    • Is responsible for the design and proper functioning of the energy monitoring on the campus of TU Delft


    • Is responsible for drawing up (multi-year) energy advice and translating this into future (potential) investments


    • Is responsible for calculating new initiatives in the field of energy saving and new concepts


    • Is responsible for the energy management system, both maintaining the plan and ensuring that the agreements are complied with. Preconditional for planning, realization and monitoring.


    • Is responsible for carrying out audits which must be carried out within the energy management system


    • Is responsible for supplying requested data in the field of energy to be able to respond to requests for international rankings


    • Approves the execution of his work with fellow technical managers, building managers and the Projects department.





Who are you?:


    • At least HBO Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy or Plant Engineering, or equivalent


    • Knowledge of project management, planning software and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma)


    • Knowledge and experience in the field of energy monitoring and management


    • Knowledge of and experience with Erbis and building management systems is an advantage


    • Experience with advice and (internal) consultancy


    • Knowledge of project management, planning software and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma)


    • Knowledge of energy technology


    • Experience of 5 years with energy monitoring and energy saving projects


    • Competences: has planning and organizational skills, is a good communicator and is able to steer on results.



Conditions of employment


The function has a size of 32-38 hours (0.8 - 1.0 fte) per week. It is a temporary appointment for a period of one year with prospects of permanent employment. The salary is based on scale 11 of the Dutch Universities with a minimum of € 3,637 and a maximum of € 4,978 gross per month for a full-time appointment.


41 days off with a 40-hour working week.


Besides of course the holiday allowance in May, you will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December. You can also compile a part of your terms of employment package yourself with the help of the Individual Terms and Conditions package, including buying and selling leave hours.
