'' A city in miniature. For example, you could call the campus of TU Delft. Some 27,000 people live there every day. And with 161 hectares the campus is bigger than the city center of Delft, and one of the largest university campuses in the world. In fact, we are in the middle of a growth! Our real estate organization also employs more than 175 employees who work every day for the management, maintenance, renovation and new construction of all buildings and infrastructure. As a Junior Risk Manager you contribute your bit '' to this so you have an important role in the risk management process within the projects of the Campus & Real Estate (CRE) department. '' 

 

We want to attract a junior to work together on a multi-year development plan, where we start with substantive training to deepen in Risk Management, Coaching on the job with for example conducting intake interviews and facilitating sessions and then some training to optimize advisory skills. And, of course, more that comes up during the kennsimaking. In short: a training budget is waiting for you! 

 

Your future responsibilities

 

    • Facilitate the risk management process within CRE projects and programs.

 

    • Providing structure to risk management on operational and tactical level and creating a collective awareness within CRE with regard to the risks for campus development.

 

    • Stimule, supports and monitors the process of risk management.

 

    • Coordinate and support in the inventory and analysis of risks and the determination and management of risk management.

 

Requirements

 

This is you

 

    • HBO and / or WO education in the fields of civil engineering, civil engineering, technical business administration or similar.

 

    •  So little or no experience at the start of your career.

 

    •  Additional courses in the area of planning, risk management (RISMAN), financial management and quality management are a plus.

 

 

Conditions of employment

 

The function has a size of 32-38 hours (0.8 - 1.0 fte) per week. It is a temporary appointment for a period of one year with prospects of permanent employment. The salary is based on scale 8 of the collective agreement for Dutch Universities with a minimum of € 2,709 and a maximum of € 4,274 gross per month for a full-time appointment. You are scaled based on knowledge and experience. You accrue pension via the ABP pension fund.

 

Besides of course the holiday allowance in May, you will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December. You can also compile a part of your terms of employment package yourself with the help of the Individual Terms and Conditions package, including buying and selling leave hours.

 

A good balance between work and private life is important. That is why you can make agreements about flexible working hours, you have many vacation days and parental leave is partially paid.
