Academic Services Division

The Academic Services Division consists of the Student Administration Directorate and Academic Administration Directorate. The Directorates provide high quality administrative and professional services in support of the University’s academic activities.


Student Administration Directorate has primary responsibility for the delivery of student-focused administrative functions and contributes also to student-related policy development.


The role

The successful appointee will be responsible for the coordination, monitoring and review of strategies relating to admission processes and provide high level strategic support and policy advice to the Director, Student Administration and the Academic Registrar, on matters relating to Admissions.


The successful appointee will provide leadership and direction to ensure that all admission duties are conducted economically and efficiently, avoiding duplication of effort and providing service of the highest standard.


The person

Applicants should have a strong desire to develop and enhance the student experience, and have a good understanding of the higher education sector. The successful candidate should possess relevant work experience in a management role, preferably within a tertiary education environment. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrable experience working in partnership with a range of stakeholders across complex organizations.

This is a full-time, fixed term (6 months) appointment at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,811.16 - $104,214.40 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $101,628.22 - $114,114.77)
