Job Description:

Manage all testing center functions for the Disability Resource Center, including but not limited to:

  • Communicating and problem-solving with students and instructors regarding exam scheduling and specific exam requirements;
  • Maintaining the Disability Resource Center’s electronic testing database system;
  • Preparing and distributing reminders to instructors;
  • Ensuring assistive software and technology is available for each exam;
  • Assisting in the creating alternative exam formats;
  • Coordinating exam space and locations on campus during finals and midterms;
  • Administering exams to students according to established protocol;
  • Validating personal identification and maintain strict confidentiality of students receiving exam accommodations; and
  • Monitoring students taking exams at the testing center via a closed circuit (CCTV) system to ensure compliance with the Honor Code.


Manage all note services functions for the Disability Resource Center, including but not limited to:

  • Communicating and problem-solve with students, student note-suppliers, and instructors;
  • Processing note-supplier compensation at the end of each semester;
  • Ensuring note-suppliers are identified, assigned, and properly performing duties; and
  • Confirming notes are distributed in a timely and efficient manner.


Job Description:

  • Supervise, train, and collaborate with the Night Time Testing Coordinator
  • Supervise, develop, and train approximately 25 student assistants assigned to the testing center and note services team.
  • Perform general administrative support including, but not limited to maintenance of assessment data, preparation of reports, maintenance of administrative and student records, and inventory of property. Respond to inquiries and/or direct to appropriate DRC staff member
  • Serve as a resource for students, parents, faculty, and staff for information related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
  • Serve on committees within the Disability Resource Center, such as the Training and Development Committee and the Assessment Committee
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Students/Director of the Disability Resource Center.
  • Report all violations or suspected violations of the Honor Code to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Provide campus and community outreach to students, faculty, staff, and students.


Advertised Salary:
$40,000 - $43,000 annually


Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Master’s degree in a related field of expertise (such as special education, business, or higher education); or bachelor’s degree in a related field of expertise (such as education, business, or psychology) with at least two or more years of related and practical experience


EXPERIENCE: Experience working with students with physical, sensory, psychological, or learning disabilities


KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in use of a Windows-based computer and Microsoft Office.
