The Faculty of Science is conducting research and education in biology, astronomy, physics, geoscience, chemistry, mathematics and environmental science. The activities are conducted at nine institutions gathered in the northern university area. The faculty has about 1500 students, 330 graduate students and 700 employees.


At the Geological Department, research is carried out of a high international class throughout the geological subject area. We offer nationally leading programs in geology at the master's and master's level. The department, consisting of two departments, quaternary geology and bedrock geology, currently has about 40 researchers / teachers and 20 PhD students.

Lund University is an employee of 100% economist for 2 years . Thereafter, the situation is evaluated to see if there is a possibility of continued employment. The chancellor, who is an independent unit, provides services to the department of natural geography and ecosystem science and the geological department.


Ongoing accounting: registration in the ledger and handling of supplier invoices.


Facility registration, registration of contributions, reclassification of salaries, billing of accounts, debit accounts, customer invoices and other administrative tasks such as package handling, orders, etc.



Requirements for the employment are:

  • Economic education.
  • Experience of work with registration in the ledger, customer billing and plant registration.
  • Good knowledge of Excel. 
  • Good knowledge of Swedish when it comes to expressing themselves in speech and writing. 
  • Good knowledge of the English language, written and oral, with a focus on the field of economics.
  • Experience in work in government activities and knowledge of the financial systems that Lund University works with is a merit.
