Following the merger of the former principal computing supply entities in the University under a new strategic governance framework, a new Director of Information Services is required.


The role requires a commercially astute individual with significant experience of information technology provision at the highest level in a complex and diverse organisation delivering excellent customer service and value for money. The role-holder will be a confident and articulate communicator and will possess a highly collaborative and inspirational leadership style with a track record of managing and developing large, multi-disciplinary teams as well as building partnerships with external partners. The postholder's ability to deal proactively with diverse stakeholder communities will be key to success.
