The Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture has six schools and six research centres and institutes including three prestigious Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureates. 

The Administrative Officer provides a high level of service to support the research activities of academic staff, including support for in the development of grant submissions and the administration support for awarded grants, in the Centre for Social Research in Health and Social Policy Research Centre.

  • Support the effective delivery of projects and initiatives at the centres
  • Provide project and administrative support to the project team and stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate project administration, meetings, and minute taking. 
  • Maintain and monitor project files and other project information systems
  • Monitor and report on research project milestones and deliverables and identify risks for escalation to management where required
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with academic and professional staff in the Centres and with the DPVC Research and Faculty Finance  to optimise work flow and service delivery
  • Assist, where needed, the Research Contracts and Grants office in finalising standard contract and sub-contractor details for research projects.
  • Work with the Centre Manager to compile relevant reports and provide preparatory material for the reporting and analysis of the Centres research project performance
  • Undertake other duties as requested by the Centre Manager or Centre Director.

To be successful you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for casual appointments.
