The Finance Division provides financial management, enterprise planning and stewardship in support of education, research, and strategic goals of Carnegie Mellon. Our mission is to provide university partners with the tools and resources needed to be well-informed leaders and effective decision makers. Carnegie Mellon University's Controller's office within the finance division is searching for an Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. In this role, your core responsibilities will include:

Performing tasks related to accounts payable and procurement support to include verification of travel transactions, communication with vendors, and completion of key process documentation.
Providing administrative assistance to include drafting memos and correspondence, preparing and proofing materials form rough drafts or dictation, and serving as initial contact and liaison, to provide information and coordination via phone and email.
Scheduling meetings, conferences or travel arrangements, preparing itineraries or meeting agendas and ensuring meeting materials are produced and available.
Producing, assembling, and maintaining reports and summaries, frequently required to respond directly to inquiries and requests regarding this information.
Providing general office management to include setting up and maintaining filing systems, initiating and processing purchase order for office equipment and supplies, paying bills, etc.

Associate's degree preferred; combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Minimum three years of office management, word processing, or data entry experience required.
