The Center for Law & Economics at ETH Zurich is an international and interdisciplinary team of about 40 lawyers, economists, political scientists and computer scientists working on issues of law & tech, innovation, intellectual property, data science, experimental law & economics, and contracts. Administrative Assistant (70-80%)

You will be responsible for providing support with a high degree of self-organization to three professors and their group members in administrative and organizational matters. You will oversee: general correspondence; financial management; human resources; annual reporting and evaluations; organizing business trips; diary management; organization of exams and events; maintaining the websites of the Center with ETH Zurich's content management system; and visitor support. You will also act as an interface between the professors and the administration of ETH Zurich. Ideally, you will also be responsible for managing the public communication and social media activities of the Center for Law & Economics. You will collaborate with another administrative assistant to provide support to Professors Bechtold, Ash, and Stremitzer at the Center for Law & Economics.

Your background: Several years of professional experience as administrative or executive assistant and/or a business management education. Good organizational skills, independent tasking ability, excellent English and German (spoken and written) are required. Proficiency in French would be a plus. You are a technically skilled and experienced user of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint), at ease with website maintenance and eager to learn about new IT environments. You are willing to provide significant, independent support to the three groups, able to manage complex tasks and happy to work in a team. Ideally, by learning about the research activities at the Center for Law & Economics, you will develop and implement a concept to communicate the research activities to the wider public through social media and other channels. You bring loyalty, integrity and reliability to the job and have the interpersonal skills required in an international environment.
