The Department of Pharmacy is looking for a proactive colleague and team player to work with project management, general administration and management support. The project management will mainly concern the research project “Improving Quality of Laboratory Learning at University Level”  


Job description  

Project management including:  

  • Point of contact for project partners for administrative and financial tasks  

  • Partner contact and follow-up on project budgets  

  • Daily administrative project coordination  

  • Project reporting  

  • Meeting planning for scientific and management meetings in English  

  • Meeting execution and follow up (venue, flight & hotel arrangements)  

  • Minutes of scientific and management meetings in English  

  • Coordination of calendars and mail correspondence  

  • Ad hoc update and maintenance of web based platform/web page (intra/internet)  

  • Seminar and symposia planning and organization i.e. keeping member lists updated, sending out information, control practical/technical aspects  

  • Administrative support to the Head of Department  

  • General administration and management support  

  • Independently prepare written reports, analysis, presentations and other written material  


About you  

You have a wide range of administrative and/or project management experience coupled with a keen interest in working in a flexible and dynamic environment. Fluency in English and Danish (oral and written) is essential, as well as self-motivation, the ability to prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines. We expect that you have a thorough understanding of the scientific way of thinking as well as the culture and organization at a University. You understand the concepts and procedures that supports the core activities with an insight in administrative and managerial processes. You possess the ability to manage several complex projects at the same time. You communicate fluent in written and oral in English and Danish.  



  • Relevant educational background (natural- or social- science)  

  • Experience with general administration and management support  

  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft office package)  

  • IT and economics understanding  

  • The ability to work as personal assistant  

  • Preferable experience with project management and administration from a university or a similar environment  

  • The ability to work effectively on your own, as well as part of a team  

  • The ability to prioritize between tasks  

  • You are service-minded, proactive, creative, well-liked by colleagues and have excellent communication skills  


Employment conditions  

The position is full time (37 hours), but part-time is also be a possibility. It is a temporary 3, 5 years position. The expected starting date: As soon as possible.  


Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experiences and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 17.1 % to your pension fund.

Our mission at the Department of Pharmacy is to advance the pharmaceutical sciences by performing drug related research and research-based teaching in a range of topics including: Pharmaceutical Technology and Formulation, Drug Delivery, Advanced Drug Analysis and Clinical and Social Pharmacy
